ABOUT IMPACT100 MELBOURNE

Impact100 Melbourne is a giving circle comprised of a passionate and diverse group of Melburnians focused on amplifying our support and impact. Our members come together to democratically decide where our funds will deliver the biggest social change.

Impact100 Melbourne was formed in 2013 by Vanessa Meachen and Rikki Andrews who were inspired by the Impact100 global movement which brings people together to pool their donations to deliver transformative change in their local area.

“By pooling my donation with other member funds I have been able to achieve greater social and community impact than if I was to contribute a small donation directly to a charity. I can have a say where my donation goes and I’ve been able to engage more deeply with charities. The member events are a great opportunity to network and engage with other like-minded individuals and I’ve enjoyed sharing in the success of the grass-roots organisations that we have supported over the years.”

 - Vanessa Meachen, Impact100 Melbourne, Committee Member and Co-Founder

The Impact100 model started in the US in 2001 and today there are more than 70 chapters across the US, UK, Australia and New Zealand.
